How Emergency Water Extraction Works

Emergency water extraction moves from the initial call and safety assessment into water removal, moisture evaluation, and structural drying.

A typical extraction response follows five basic steps:

  1. Assess the immediate conditions. The restoration team needs to know what happened, whether water is still entering the building, how much standing water is visible, and whether electrical or other safety concerns may be present.
